BRC Volleyball Final

The Kozhikode Tekkeppuram Group in Jeddah, B.R.C., organized a month-long Volleyball Tournament at the Khalid bin Waleed Training Mate Academy grounds in Jeddah for the 2023-24 season. In the Finals, BRC Smashers emerged as the champions.
The BRC Smashers, led by Captain Nihal, secured the title by defeating the Twisters in two consecutive sets. During the finals, Riyas of the Smashers effectively countered the opposing team with powerful serves and strategic placements. Teammates Jareer, Faheem, Hafiz, and Ameen Sahani also contributed significantly. Riyas was recognized as the best player of the final, while Nihal received the Player of the Tournament award for his exceptional performance throughout.
The event commenced with a veterans’ volleyball match, demonstrating that age doesn’t hinder passion and skill. Azeez’s blue team triumphed over Haris’s green team in this match.
Zaheer Putanpurail, coach of Jeddah Sabin FC, and former BRC president Luqman Razack graced the final as chief guests, enhancing the event’s prestige. President Abdurrahiman Maliyekal initiated the ceremony with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the remarkable sportsmanship displayed by both teams. The chief guests shared their excitement about the final match and praised the quality of matches held over the past four weeks.
Trophies were presented to the winners and runners-up by Saheer Puthanpurail and Luqman Razack, with additional trophies distributed by Firoz Malik, Muhajir, Naeem, Sajid, and Samad. Rafree Ashraf efficiently managed the matches, while Vice President Niswar Hassan expressed gratitude to all participants, organizers, and supporters in his vote of thanks. General Captain Kafeel VS presided over the program, and the final and closing ceremony were moderated by Abdurrahman, Mohammad, Ehsan, Sabiq, Thaweel, Ehab, Kamaruddin, and Samad.

The BRC Volleyball Championship entered its electrifying third week, treating fans to gripping matches that showcased exemplary talent and intense competition.In the first match, the BRC Pacers faced off against the BRC Defenders in a clash that kept spectators on the edge of their seats. The Defenders emerged victorious in a thrilling encounter, with Muhajir’s outstanding contribution earning him the well-deserved title of Man of the Match.
The second match featured a face-off between the BRC Twisters and the BRC Smashers, delivering yet another spectacle. The Smashers clinched the win, with Captain Nihal’s stellar performance earning him the title of Man of the Match.

The second week of the championship has drawn to a close. The first match pitted the BRC Defenders against the BRC Twisters, with the Twisters securing victory. Shamnar from the Twisters was chosen as the Man of the Match for his exceptional performance.In the second match between the BRC Smashers and the BRC Pacers, the Smashers emerged triumphant with a score of 2-1. Selin from the BRC Pacers was honored with the Man of the Match title for an outstanding display on the field.

The Khalid bin Walid stadium witnessed an exhilarating kickoff to the BRC Volleyball Ball Tournament on Friday, 29th December, 2023. The anticipation was palpable as enthusiasts gathered for an electrifying display of talent and sportsmanship. Chief Guest, P.I. Arif, graced the occasion, setting the tone for a riveting series of matches.
The inaugural matches kept spectators on the edge of their seats as the BRC Smashers clashed with the BRC Defenders. The Smashers emerged victorious after a gripping battle, clinching two sets against the Defenders’ one. The standout performance of Jareer Ahmed from the Smashers earned him the coveted title of ‘Man of the Match,’ showcasing exceptional skill and determination on the court.
In the subsequent clash between the BRC Pacers and the BRC Twisters, the Twisters asserted their dominance with a commanding performance, securing victory by claiming two sets against the Pacers’ none. Sanju’s stellar display for the Twisters earned him the accolade of ‘Man of the Match,’ highlighting his instrumental role in steering his team towards success.

BRC Cricket Final

The month-long cricket tournament by Bharath Recreation Club (B.R.C) from Thekkeppuram, Calicut, ended at Jeddah’s Khalid Bin Waleed Ground in a thrilling finale. The match witnessed BRC Twisters triumphing over BRC Pacers in a gripping showdown. Ihsan N’s remarkable batting for BRC Pacers and Captain Shamnar’s heroic innings for Twisters stole the show. Shamnar’s brilliance earned him both Best Batsman and Man of the Series titles, with Rizwan and Faseeh from Twisters securing Best Bowler and Best Fielder accolades. Captains Kefeel V.S and Waseem’s leadership, alongside other conveners, ensured smooth tournament operations, adding to the event’s success. The tournament’s grandeur was further elevated by the presence of esteemed chief guests Mr. Rafi Bheemapally and Mr. Ahmed C, making it an unforgettable cricketing extravaganza.

At Khalid Bin Waleed Ground, the BRC Cricket League’s third week was action-packed: BRC PACERS triumphed over BRC DEFENDERS, securing a 9-wicket win led by Captain Salin, while BRC SMASHERS narrowly edged past BRC TWISTERS by 6 runs, with Jareer Ahmed as the Man of the Match.
The league ended with BRC TWISTERS, BRC PACERS, and BRC SMASHERS tied at 4 points each, and BRC PACERS and BRC TWISTERS heading to the final, promising an exciting conclusion to the cricket season.

BRC Cricket 2nd Week

The second week of the BRC Cricket season concluded with an eagerly anticipated cricket carnival. In the initial match, BRC Smashers faced off against BRC Pacers, resulting in Pacers securing a 7-wicket win. Ihsan Nalakath stood out, claiming 2 wickets and scoring 23 runs for Pacers, earning him the Man of the Match title. The second match featured BRC Twisters against BRC Defenders. Twisters, batting first, amassed 133 runs, leading to Defenders’ defeat by 44 runs. Captain Shamnar, scoring 76 runs, was crowned the Man of the Match. It was indeed an exhilarating second week of cricket action.

BRC Cricket opening Day

The BRC Cricket League had a spectacular start with an impressive inauguration by Ali Koya PV, setting the stage for an exciting season of cricket action. In the first match, BRC Twisters outshone BRC Pacers, securing a commanding 7-wicket victory, with Rizwan Inju being named “Man of the Match” for his outstanding performance. The second match witnessed BRC Smashers dominating BRC Defenders with a significant 58-run lead, and Abrar BV earned the “Man of the Match” honor. The opening day of the league was a resounding success, igniting the excitement of cricket enthusiasts. The stage is set for more thrilling matches in the BRC Cricket League!

President Lukman Razak presided over the Annual General Body Meeting of the BRC Jeddah Committee. Joint Secretary Niswar Hasan presented the Annual Report, and Treasurer Shoukath K presented the Financial Report. Secretary Firoz Malik delivered the welcome speech, while Mu’amin Nawaz performed the welcome prayer. New officials were elected during the meeting.
The event featured a range of activities for various age groups, including Musical Chairs, Running races, Sack Jump, Tug of War, Cross Bar, and Jackpots. Winners in the kids’ categories included Shahzal Wasim, Sahad Suhail, Aydeen Kafeel, Mifsal Ilyas, Muhammad Abdurahman, Ihan Faheem, Ishaan Abdurahman, Muamin Nawaz, Lujain Pervez, Abel Pervez, Wasil Nawaz, Ilhan Nihal, Ishal, Amina Jaseer, Sanha Kunjahammed, and Serin Lukhman. Mujeeb Rahman, Nawaz, Kafeel, Firoz, Niswar Hasan, Samjul, Thaweel, and Muhammed Yahya managed the Kids Events.
The newly elected committee officials are Abdurrahman (President), Faheem Basheer (General Secretary), Jarir Ahmad (Treasurer), Samad D, Niswar Hassan (Vice President), Yazid, Muhammad Yahya (Joint Secretary), V.S.
